I can't imagine a nice time to visit Amsterdam than in the Autumn.
The autumnal colours of the leaves, the golden sunlight, crisp mornings and regular stops for a hot drink all went together perfectly.
As you can expect I have many images of the canals lined with rich colourful autumn trees, architecture and of course bikes.
I took a mixture of Kodak Portra 400 and 800 thinking that the weather would be pretty grey and miserable. For the most part I ended up having to meter for double the box speed and then develop normally, the results - particularly with the Portra 800 - was an incredible contrast and saturation.
Below are two slideshows, one for 400 and another for 800 films.
And now for a few images taken with the Kodak Portra 800.
