Cinque Terre is a hotspot for photographers. It was pretty evident that 99% of people there were tourists, to the point where it make it pretty difficult to try and capture any locals going about their daily business.
That to one side, it's still a wonderfully picturesque part of Italy. With its hillside villages that seem to be perched so delicate on the cliffs you wonder how they don't just slip away. During the heat we still managed to do lots of walking which enabled me to capture at least one I liked from each of the villages in Cinque Terre.
With harsh lighting, I edited these using an adjusted Portra 160 VSCO preset which helped take the edge of the contrast.
